Pleasant Hill Panthers Fall Ball

 

 

8U and 14U Make UP 8.20.2018 at Pleasant Hill Middle School pitchers at catchers 5pm, all other players at 5:45pm. 

10U and 12U Rosters coming soon

We are having tryouts for the 2018 Panther travel ball team. The teams will compete in four tournaments starting end of Aug wrapping up end of October.  Practices will likely be 1-2 nights per week, per managers and field schedules.

The Fall Ball program is designed to be both developmental and competitive with an emphasis on skill refinement and a heavy focus on strength and conditioning.  Tryouts are open to all girls.

 

The goal is to have single teams in the 8U Barton, 10U Cagiga, 12U Scheafer,14U Wood and if interest are shown 16U ages.  The team determined by players age as of Dec 31 2017.

 

You must register your player for tryouts by following this link. http://assn.la/Reg/?r=1:245950    All players wishing to tryout must register prior to August 12th.

 

Tryout schedule is as follows.

Monday Aug 13th; pitchers at catchers 5pm, all other players at 5:45pm.

Please show up 30 minutes early to sign in and warm up.  All tryouts will be held at Pleasant Hill Middle School fields near the tennis courts.

 

It is mandatory that you attend one of the tryouts. If your child makes the team, costs will be approx. $420.00. Once your player receives an invite you will be given a link to register and asked to make a 50% commitment deposit online within 72hrs. Cost includes four tourney registration fees, PH Park & Rec fee, field equipment a jersey and hat or visor. It does not include tournament fees if a team chooses to participate in any additional tournaments.

2018 Boys Fall Baseball Teams Tryouts

We are having tryouts for the PHBA Travel Fall Baseball teams on August 19th and 26th. These teams will compete in three tournaments during the 10 week season starting after Labor Day.  Practices will likely be 1-2 nights per week through the middle of November.

 

The Fall Ball program is designed to be both developmental and competitive with an emphasis on skill refinement and a heavy focus on strength and conditioning.  Tryouts are open to all PHBA boys players (both in house and Hawks players). Rosters sizes are expected to be in the 12-15 player range as the program is set up in a manner to allow kids to play other fall sports.

 

The goal is to have single age division teams for the 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U and 14U ages.  The team your child should tryout for is determined by your son's age on April 30th, 2019. For instance, if your son will be 11 on April 30, 2019, then he will play in the 11U division in Fall.

Please do not have your son wear any past Hawks or PHBA All Star jerseys or hats to the tryouts.

August Speed and Conditioning Camps

It's always a good time to improve your Speed & Conditioning!

 

Please see below for a couple off-season workout camps that Steve Hammond is hosting at the Pleasant Hill Middle School fields in August. These camps are a great off-season speed and conditioning program that will be very beneficial to your child’s athletic development. The programs are intended for all athletes at all ability levels. They will cover fundamentals of running form, accelerating, stopping, lateral agility, jumping, and landing - all in a very fun and competitive way.  Alternating between specific drills that focus on one of these areas with races or games that use the skills practiced.

 

There are two camps, each broken into two time slots based on age/grade.  The first one is 5 days during the week of August 6th and the second camp is 6 days spanning over two weeks starting August 21st.  See below for the details and follow this link for signups.  Click on 'See Times', and then select location (PMHS), and then 'See Slots. Only need to enroll in the first day of camp.

 

One Week Camp (5 days) - $85 - starting August 6th

- Elementary Speed & Conditioning CAMP 1 (8/6 - 8/10). All 3rd - 5th Graders welcome - limited to first 30 signups. 4:30 - 6:00 every day from 8/6 - 8/10 at PMHS

- Middle School Speed & Conditioning CAMP 1 (8/6 - 8/10). All Junior High students welcome. Limited to first 30 signups. All week 8/6 - 8/10 from 6:00 - 7:30 at PMHS

 

Two Week Camp (6 days) - $99 - starting August 21st

- Elementary Speed & Conditioning CAMP 2 (8/21-23 + 28-30). All 3rd - 5th Graders welcome - limited to first 30 signups. 4:30 - 6:00 at PMHS. T/W/Th for 2 weeks. 8/21, 8/22, 8/23 8/28, 8/29, 8/30.

- Middle School Speed & Conditioning CAMP 2 (8/21-23 + 28-30). All Junior High students welcome. Limited to first 30 signups. 6:00 - 7:30 @ PMHS. T/W/Th for 2 weeks - 8/21, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30.
